Are you the go-to person and trusted guide for our international colleagues?
At Vion Food Group, we believe everyone should feel welcome and at home at work. As a Social Buddy, you play an important role. You help new colleagues – often from abroad – to find their way at Vion and to quickly feel part of our team.

Your challenge

As a Social Buddy, you are easy to find and open to talk to – on the work floor and in the canteen. You are the link between our international colleagues, the HR department, and the employment agencies. Thanks to you, new colleagues feel welcome, informed, and supported.

What will you do?

• Welcome and guide new colleagues when they start.

• Be the daily contact person for questions.

• Help colleagues understand how things work at Vion and in their department.

• Share important information in simple language, and if possible, in their own language.

• Talk with new employees about their first weeks and make sure they feel heard.

• Notice problems early and discuss them with the HR Manager.

Your profile

• You have a background that connects with our international colleagues (for example Polish, Romanian, or Bulgarian).

• You speak at least basic Dutch or English, and one of the languages of our colleagues.

• You are social, a good communicator, and people can trust you.

• You are proactive and can see what is important.

• You are empathetic and can create a warm atmosphere.
