At Vion, we work together every day to deliver sustainable food solutions. Within our Corporate Group Control department, we are looking for a Senior Specialist Financial Systems: the vital link between our financial systems and the needs of our organization.

Your Role

As a Senior Specialist Financial Systems, you report to the Manager Accounting & Reporting and are part of the Financial Systems sub-team within Group Control. You are a driven professional with a passion for finance and IT, ensuring that our systems seamlessly align with Vion’s needs.

We are currently undergoing a transformative phase with the transition to a new organizational structure and a new consolidation and reporting system. This offers you a unique opportunity to make a real impact. In addition to optimizing our systems, you will support Accounting & Reporting tasks during the month-end closing process and collaborate with the Risk Manager on internal control processes and tools.

Your Responsibilities

• Act as the point of contact for system users: you log queries, resolve issues, and prepare adjustment requests.

• Proactively improve and optimize the Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) system (Oracle EPM 11.2.17).

• Organize and deliver training and workshops for new and existing users.

• Perform monthly routines within the financial closing cycle.

• Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports.

• Optimize and standardize management information, KPIs, and reporting.

• Functional management of additional systems, such as SAI 360, D3, and Innervision (Iris).

• Support Change Control Board activities and LOR quarterly presentations.

Your Profile

You are energetic, responsible, and take initiative. You thrive on challenges and have the ambition to continuously improve our financial systems.

What you bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 5-7 years of experience in system management, support, and implementation (preferably Oracle EPM).

• Knowledge of financial processes, such as budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

• Strong MS Office skills (particularly Excel).

• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.

• A strong communicator capable of effectively bridging departments.

• Accurate, process-oriented, and focused on improvement.

• Eager to learn, with a good sense of humor.
